Salvia Lycioides

Salvia Lycioides

Shrubby perennial.

This attractive species has a low-growing habit and wiry stems, clothed with small, wavy-edged leaves that are hard to the touch.

Produces a pretty display of small, true-blue flowers with conspicuous white throats, between June and October and enjoys a sunny, well-drained site or rock garden.

Several imposters have been circulated under this name over the past 15 years, bearing little or no resemblance to this, which we believe is the true plant.
