Salvia Regla

Salvia Regla

Erect, deciduous shrub from Western Texas and Mexico.

Vibrant, scarlet flowers with inflated, orange-tinted calyces from August until the first frosts. New leaves appear on the attractive mahogany-coloured stems in May.

We strongly recommend resisting any temptation to prune this plant other than minor formative pruning when in growth – you have been warned

Hardy in Southern England in a sunny well-drained position
